This week was so much fun. This Wednesday was Halloween. Such a fun time full of candy and cute costumes. I must admit, I am about 10 years too old for Halloween, but we’re all kids at heart! I figured Wim would be a good excuse to get candy this year, seeing as he never experienced an American Halloween. Wim and I got some funny masks from Forbes.com.

They were a big hit among the adults giving out candy. We went to an overly wealthy neighborhood. Not to say that others aren’t wealthy, but these types of people like to show it off. Which means huge candy bars instead of tiny rickrack. They compete with their equally showy neighbors. Anyhow, our masks weren’t too big of a hit with the upper class citizens we ran into. Extra horrifying for those few. I guess they love the low taxes for rich people, and don’t want Clinton or Obama to change that.
