Thats Autumn. I will tell my side of Wim’s adventures, in English.

After lots of stress and excitement, Wim is finally here! It was so nice seeing him again. It felt like forever even though I had seen him only a month prior.

Kutztown University

So far, Kutztown University is great. As a future student of Kutztown, it’s nice to see how the campus runs before I make the leap to attend. It gives me a lot more confidence in how I will go about my time at Kutztown. I was a little surprised by the size of Wim’s room at first (small). But for the cheapest on campus, it’s a great deal. His roomate, Andy, is very nice…quiet, which is what every mature college student would want. After talking to others, I realize the dorm housing (Deatrick Hall) Wim is staying in mostly contains Freshmen (first year) students. This obviously causes problems with noise and stereotypical college “party” problems. Animal House(Dutch review), the overrated American college movie, doesn’t seem so ‘overdone’ after all now.

The one thing I love is Kutztown itself. The town has amazing history and I love the scenic drive out to the college. My family and I use back roads instead of the highway, it is more relaxing. I took some pictures on my drive (fast blurs), which turned out ‘ok’…

Kutztown Welcome

Fleetwood Apples

Mountains

I just started my college today, all my classes went well and things are starting to setlle down for Wim and I.

I will see him this weekend….here is a list of adventures I hope to have with him in the coming weeks:

Celebrate Halloween

Carve Pumpkins

Go apple picking at Hopewell Furnace

Make Apple Crisp with said apples

Go Camping, create a fire and cook s’mores

  2. Hey Sarah and Wim! I happy that you both are on the same continent and can spend time together (after you both do your schoolwork I’m sure). Don’t forget to add to you list of “to-do’s” a Fall must……….navigating your way through a giant corn maze!
